If you have ever tried to set up a time tracking system, you know that organising roles and permissions can sometimes feel like solving a complicated puzzle. No worries: with ClockWise you can make it as simple or as extensive as you want. Because you can also remove every role and permission you add, you have full control over the setup. There are various standard roles available that you can use. The user can record hours, the administrator can view and manage everything, the department manager can approve the hours and the client can give digital approval. You can also add roles yourself by adding user groups. A group is often used for the financial administration or for project managers, for example. The roles and permissions you assign determine how the data can be viewed and edited by the user.

The more data you enter in ClockWise, the more powerful the reports and insights you get out of it. With just a project name and an employee you can keep track of hours, but by adding budgets, staffing and rates you immediately see whether you are staying within budget and how productive your team is. Planning & budgeting

The calendar in ClockWise makes it possible to create appointments that can be linked directly to clients and projects, so the planned hours can be carried out clearly. Those hours can then be imported into the hours screen easily. The planning board gives a visual overview of the availability and appointments of employees, with the option to distinguish different types of appointment by colour. Calendar items can also be exported in iCal format, so they can easily be loaded onto iPhone, iPad and Android devices. You can also set a start and end date per project and enter rates, which gives you insight into staffing and even lets you calculate an average turnover per week or month.

Files

With the files in ClockWise you always have a clear overview of all the important information, organised by client, project or employee. Each file shows the hours recorded, productivity and, for example, holiday and sick hours, so you quickly have insight into the status and progress. For clients you can view the turnover per client directly.
